ANDY'S MAN CLUB
SOMETHING GOOD FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Much like this site, Andy's Man Club was inspired by a friend who was lost to suicide. From this loss, this suicide prevention charity was born. It was created by Andy's Mum and Brother-in-law.

They have 120 FREE support groups all over the UK, that aim to inspire men to talk about their mental health, with the hashtag #ItsOkayToTalk. They say that they "Break down the stigma of men's mental health."

These groups gather at 7pm EVERY Monday (only excluding bank holidays). This is what they say happens in these gatherings:

"In these groups, men can open up about the storms affecting their lives in a safe, judgement-free and non-clinical environment. Our clubs are designed to be free of pressure, there is no obligation for men to speak, they can simply listen if they wish."

This charity continues to open new groups in different areas in hopes of getting more men to join, and allow them to be in a safe space to talk about their mental health.

So far they have over 2800 men making use of these sessions, with hopes to have many more using them in future.
